Feminist and Proud
A Challenging Show
Chapter 1 by Johanna
"Welcome, welcome, welcome!"
The amplified voice booms over the massive stage and the packed audience as its owner, an immaculately dressed middle-aged man strolls out into the view, followed by the spotlight.
"To our returning guests and viewers, welcome back. To those joining us for the first time: it will be worth your time. Just a quick reminder for all; in a moment I will be joined by lovely ladies who have shown themselves, in social media or in person, to be vocal supporters of feminism. These lovely contestants will have a chance to prove their talk is not cheap; that they are not merely jumping the liberal train but truly and deeply believe in their cause."
The man settles in a massive throne-like armchair as the applause subdues. Some faces in the audiences are shining in anticipation of what they know is to come. Others are merely curious so far. The same can be said for countless viewers at home; the audience has been steadily growing and most of those who did not switch channels immediately will watch until the end (or so surveys suggest).
A girl in a scandalously revealing French maid outfit approaches the armchair with a tray with a glass on it, but the man ignores her so far. He adjusts his mic and speaks again. "Now, let us also welcome..."

Disclaimer: the story is entirely fictional; no real people are to be included and any resemblance to such of any characters is purely coincidental. I am a proud feminist and in real life I have no sympathy for the rampant misogyny that will feature in the story. That said, I must admit I am quite curious how I would do in a show like this myself...
The basic premise is as above - active feminists are invited, alone or in small groups, to publicly defend their views in front of a live audience in a series of challenges, which they are legally bound to complete once they have consented to participation. The challenges will start simply (for instance, one might be invited to read an anti-feminist statement to get a cash prize) and progress to less and less bearable pain and humiliation. I have a (somewhat vague at this point) main line in mind but contributions and side-branches are most welcome.
Who joins him?

In response to the rise of liberal and feminist rhetoric, agile minds decided to let active feminists participate in a show where they get a chance to demonstrate their dedication to their cause. The (un)lucky invited women will be tempted with prizes and then more to make demeaning statements and perform demeaning acts for the viewers' amusement... Or dismay.
