Dragoness's Knight
Not Your Typical Erotic Fantasy Romance
Chapter 1 by dracone
All is well in the kingdom of Penelias; the king and queen have a healthy relationship (the king fucks his wife at least a dozen times a day and an additional 20 times at night, they’re both very horny), with the queen actually thinking it’s hot her husband fucks the maids (they have no male servants, aside from the entertainment), the finances of the kingdom are stable, the kingdom is enjoying another bountiful harvest year, and the eldest princess (there are five princesses in total) has just turned 18. The kingdom was getting ready to go through one of its monthly rituals.
A rather distinct dragon made its way to the mountains at the northwestern border of Penelias and started working on literally digging out a new lair for itself, within the side of the mountain. Very few dragons would be doing this sort of thing, usually opting to find a cavity in the terrain that was already made prior to their arrivals. The dragon’s method of developing a new home wasn’t quite unusual for a dragon.
The kingdom of Penelias is having a prosperous year, the fifth in a row at this point, the crops were yielding in greater abundance than was usually seen, the crafters were producing higher quality works in less time than they usually took, and trade with other nations was proving far more beneficial than it had historically before now. Even the education of the country’s mages was going for better than it ever had before. All in all, nothing seemed to be too problematic. Well, except for military endeavors and training, but those always seem to have more problems than everything else.
Yes, there were still thefts, especially robberies from caravans and traveling merchants, but that seemed to be on a downward trend for the past decade or so. Fewer thefts were being reported, so the bureaucrats took that to mean that theft, on the whole, was on a downward trend. Everything was fine, at first look anyway.
As is usually the trend in these stories, what is seen on the surface is not a clear indicator of the truths that lie beneath. For example, the dragon mentioned earlier was doing all that because it was driven from its previous lair, and it’s hard to imagine a time so good that someone isn’t doing what they can to take advantage of circumstances. Just what lies beyond in our story, then? You can probably guess some of the beats, but chances are you won’t properly see all the ones that matter for this story, and maybe the one that could follow.

Gavin is from a family with a... unique history, the kind that typically gets them shunned by people higher on the sociopolitical ladder the family, strange looks from most common folks, and requests for details from Adventurers (they're considered fringe society individuals). Yulethiarnia is not your typical dragon, she's part of a subset of dragons known as "Demonic Dragon" and this subset is actually pretty rare, the kind of dragon that she just so happens to be is physically weak by dragon standards, normally her subset is physically superior, the kind within the subset she happens to be is actually physically weaker but has other abilities to make up for it. These two odd individuals are about to have their own trials before coming together in a very passionate, and physical, romance. The story will mainly have its chapters split between Gavin and Yulethiarnia, with a few chapters outside those two in order to give context on events and help build the world. And yes, the villains of the story are also pretty kinky, just in some much more cringe-worthy ways or ways that are intended to make some readers uncomfortable. As you can probably guess by the title, this story is playing with established medieval Fantasy tropes, mainly those involving knights, dragons, magic items, and royalty. Once the story is far enough along, feel free to expand the world with other stories that take place in the same world, just make sure that those stories in the same world don't dramatically conflict with this main story. I also have plans to give the story a follow-up story after it reaches a point I think is a decent or satisfying endpoint. Regardless, once it reaches a certain point, I do plan on using this world as a setting for a Mature D&D game, so be on the look for notice on that if it interests you.
