Date night

"It was a pretty nice day" you think to yourself, as you walk along the tight crossroad.

You played soccer with your friends all day long, while enjoying the summer. Nothing could ruin this day. Atleast you thought so..

As you rushed trough the door, exited to take a long cold shower, you see your mom on the phone. She looks happy. Talking in her fake voice, you assume its one of her friends.

She has this habbit. She always sets on a different voice, wehn she isnt talking to you. You sometimes wonder if other entities exist, which get the same harsh tone of speaking, you always have to hear.

Maybe a dog or a homeless guy. but that is besides the point.. You hear her put the phone down.

"JOHN! Come here!" she yells through the empty home.

As you walk in the living room you see her smiling. thinking maybe it could be good news.

"Where were you?"

"Just out with stevie and michael" you say.

"with stevie huh? why is he even playing with you?"

You just look at the floor, hoping she will skip to the next topic.

"John look at me when im talking to you! Do you remember Stacy? the girl from elemantary school?"

Stacy, how could you forget her. You were best friends in Elemantary school.

partly because your mums were friends, but because she had a great sense of humor.

She was a cute girl, dark brown hair, bracelet, glasses and a smile you could die for.

She was cool and had a large fantasy. It was fun playing with her.

In Highschool she explored anime and games, and didnt grew out of the phase.

She got new friends and you got yours. Your paths splitted, and you lost contact.

You had a short period of chatting on instagram, but you realized how annoying she became.

"I just talked with her mom, she is very lonely and doesnt meets with friends. would you mind hanging out with her?"

knowing you dont get to decide, you accept.

Now you are walking to her house. Its a bit colder and the sun is about to go down. She lives in the poor side of town, despite having a very luxurary home.

In the distance you hear dogs barking and the sound of an ambulance. You check your pants to see if your wallet is still there. It is.

You spot her house in the distance. It still looks like the house you imagine from your childhood.

You walk over her garden area, not sure if you have to take your shoes off. Standing infront of the Door you suddenly get nervous.

Maybe she doesnt even wanna see you, or worse she cant even remember you. What if her mom remmebers what you once did.

The possiblities rush trough you head. you were never much of a thinker, so you just take a step forward. Standing infront of her door
