Chapter 1
by tralaw
Max was walking home in the pouring rain. The world sucked. He had not had a girlfriend in months and things were looking bad. There were a couple he had crushes on, but they were all out of his league.
"Spare some change sir?" asked an old homeless lady, breaking through his thoughts.
He fished in his pockets for a few coins without looking at the woman. He brought out a five and handed it to her. She seemed to glow with delight.
"Thank you sir!" she cried "As a matter of fact, there might be something you could do for me."
"What do you mean?" said Max, looking wary
The old woman opened her bag and took out a small bottle. It's contents shone blue in the dark.
"I was wondering if you would take this. I've had it for a while, but I don't like to use it anymore.
"Well what is it?" asked Max
"It's a strange thing. if you drink this whole bottle, for a week, everything will go exactly as you wish it to. Even if your subconscious wants something to happen, it will."
Max took the bottle. He knew it wouldn't work, but he really wanted to get rid of the old lady.
"Go on then, drink up!" she persisted
Feeling like it was a bad idea, Max uncorked the bottle and poured it down his throat.
Immediately, he found himself lying on the ground. Picking himself up, he wondered how he had gotten there. A vague image of an old woman surfaced in his mind, but he couldn't grasp it. But just as he got up, a bus pulled up beside him.
Thinking that he was lucky to catch a bus at this late hour, he got on. He noticed a sign on the pay thing: FREE BUS RIDES TODAY! Feeling that this was getting weird, he went on. Then saw something that made him freeze.
Sitting on the bus was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. She was about 18, with auburn hair falling to her back and the best ass he had ever seen. She eyed him with large liquid brown eyes and played seductively with her finger at her mouth, in the pose of a naughty girl. As he stared, she got out a piece of paper and wrote something down. getting up, she crossed and handed him the paper.
Watching her leave, he looked down. Her phone number was written on it. Thinking that the night could not get any better, Max Got off the bus and walked home, only to find the door unlocked and his favorite meal on the table.
