As much faith as she had in the crew of the Tantive IV in repelling the Imperial invader's, Princess Leia still had the whole 'what if?' scenario running through her head. What if the Empire did in fact make it further into the ship and either captured or killed her. If that happened then the Rebel Alliance would fail and the Empire would be victorious.

No, she couldn't take that chance.

"Wait a second" Leia ordered C-3PO and R2-D2 as she quickly rummaged around her quarters and grabbed the leather belt with a satchel attached to it and after some more quick rummaging, Leia found her macrobinoucular's and stuffed them inside the satchel and firmly attached it to her waist, Leia grabbed a vibro-knife and slid it down into her boot resting the cold blade against her foot and last but not least Leia grabbed her small blaster pistol.

"Okay, lets go" Leia said to the two droids as the trio began making their way through the ship which had quickly escalated into a full on firefight. Blaster bolt's flew through the air as Rebel soldier's attempted to put down as many Stormtroopers entering the ship via the only entrance. For every Stormtrooper taken down another two more seemed to take their place.

"Oh dear, what if they catch us?" C-3PO's panicked voice said as he, R2-D2 and the Princess made their way towards the escape pod's "we'll be sent to the spice mines of Kessel or smashed into who knows what?" a series of beeps and chirps came from the astromech droid "don't you call me an idiot, you overweight blob of grease!" the gold protocol droid delivered a swift kick to the blue and white astromech droid.

"Be quiet!" Leia growled through clenched teeth "we need to keep a low profile" the occasional Stormtrooper had spotted the trio but thankfully the Princess was no oaf with a blaster and managed to put down any who noticed them. Thankfully most of them were preoccupied with assaulting the Rebel crew-members fighting them at the entrance.

Finally, the three made it to the escape pod's, albeit that didn't stop the arguing between the two droids. It took more time than Leia would've like for C-3PO to finally awkwardly enter the pod which once he was in it caused the small pod to become rather cramped.

The clamps holding the pod soon detached and the three were sent hurtling through space and down towards the nearest planet
