unexpected side effects

Some time went by, quiet and uneventful. Your bunny-girl, who was named Doe, kept her distance from you but was too afraid to leave your laboratory. You had conceded to her modesty and acquired some clothing for her. It was just a top and a short skirt, but it covered what needed to be covered.

You could easily leave her alone when you left your lab, but to be sure, you still kept two guards near the exit.

At first whenever you returned she was always quick to jump up and hide somewhere. You presumed it was the bunny aspect, the instinct of prey, that made her act so wary of you despite your assurances that you wouldn't hurt her.

Over time, though, she steadily relaxed in your presence. Eventually she got bold enough to come close and talk to you.

Today was one such a day. You were reading up on a thesis from one of your colleagues when her soft voice captured your attention.

"What are you reading?"

"A theory on the relation between the different elements. For example, the different ways a nexus can be formed and manipulated."

"Ah..." She replied. "That sounds interesting."

"Oh, it is. Nexi are power conduits. They can be incredibly useful for large spells."

Doe stood behind you and gently touched your shoulder as she gazed at the paper you held.

"Have you ever used a nexus before?"

"Many times." You told her. "Most often in the last war. The enemy troops were lured to where those nexi are, then I used it's powers to conjure massive spells."

"You must be an incredibly strong wizard." There was a good deal of awe and something else in her tone.

You turned to look at her and smirked. "I am the strongest in this nation."

You stood up from your chair and towered over her slight form. She trembled slightly but didn't move away. In fact, she seemed to sway a little closer.

"You know, there's something about you that has been bothering me."

Doe's ears straightened up in panic.

"Really?" She replied hesitantly. "Wha... what is it?"

"You don't usually get this close to me, always making sure to keep a certain distance. But lately you've been breaking your own rules and getting nearer to me. Why is that I wonder?"

Doe stuttered nervously as if she hadn't realized her actions.

"Well, that is ... I, uhm ..."

She put a hand on your chest and gazed up at you with wide. slightly dazed eyes..

"I have been ... thinking ... and well ... it's not easy to ..."

Her breathing became heavy. She stared into your eyes and it felt like she lost herself in your presence.

"Whenever you are near ... I don't know ... I've never felt this before ... I don't understand ... I have to ..."

Her body was leaning against yours and her hips were unconsciously moving back and forth. You suddenly realised what had to be going on. Was she going into heat?

You looked her over carefully. Her eyes were slightly glazed over and she was definitely flushed. Heavy breathing and a soft sweet scent that called to you and made you twitch inside your trousers.

With a hand reaching between her legs you pushed up her tiny skirt a little and revealed pale thighs getting wet with her arousal. She was definitely in heat.

This... this was perfect! Her being in heat meant she was being overcome by the bunny hormones and would probably end up begging for sex to satisfy it.

If you took her now, you would most likely get her pregnant which would open up all sorts of future studies.

Or you could wait and see what the heat would do to her, how long she would last without satisfaction...
