slipped off the beam

Kushina pointed her head down as she stepped through the waterfall. she stayed under it for a moment to make sure the oil was off of her. as she stepped out she almost missed the beam since it was immediately after the waterfall. luckily with her head down she saw the beam and managed to get her feet on the beam.

she slowly made her way through the beam. she had to be extra careful since her wet feet almost made her slip once or twice. around the half way point one of her feet did slip off the beam. she tried to catch the beam in her arms but her hands could not get a grip and she slipped right off. she looked down and could see nothing but a pit of darkness.

suddenly she felt something hit her in the arm. looking at her arm she saw it was some type of dart. upon realizing this she started to feel tired. she felt a jolt of pain when she hit the water at the bottom of the tunnel. she tried to swim to the surface but the poison from the dart was making her weak. her last thought before she passed out was wondering why the water felt so weird.
