over 80%

I couldn't believe it. They actually did it. Most of my class scored over 80% on their tests! How did they get so good all of a sudden? I sighed knowing I will have to keep my word to my class. I was proud of their accomplishment but at the same time I really didn't want to know what kind of costume my class picked out for me. I will have to wear it all day.

When class time came around the next day, I strode into the classroom ready to make the announcement of my student's success. "Ahem, class, I am pleased to inform you...that everyone scored 80% or higher on the test." There was cheering all around. Though I suspected it had more to do with their upcoming reward rather than their academic accomplishment. "As promised students, I will wear any costume of your choosing for an entire day; be it today or next class, whichever works best. You have earned this privilege, so I leave myself at your mercy. Have all of you agreed on what costume I should wear?" I couldn't help but wonder whether or not they will provide the outfit for me or make me buy it. I suppose it didn't matter either way, I will still have to wear it in the end. I suppose whether they already had it or I had to go and fetch the costume myself would influence the day I will have to wear it.

There was a twinkling going about the eyes of many of my female students. I may have resolved myself to follow through with this but it didn't make me any less nervous wondering what kind of costume they were all going to make me wear.
