mechanical humming.

"Maybe I've found the mechanism that will be able to undo my shopping trip?" — Jen thought.

She had to go through window blinds to approach the source of these sounds. As she got closer, the mysterious mechanism's purpose did not get any clearer, as Jen did not get less blind. Then, a pleasant, albeit ice-cold prerecorded female voice said:

"Please, stand up on the platform."

Jen was afraid that the machine was going to eat her, but the instructions given made her regain some of her sense of security. She carefully stepped towards the humming sound, then through three small ladder steps, and finally heard her booties bumping upon something which seemed like a platform.

"Please, stand still while we perform a 3D scan of your body. This will take approximately one minute."

"I hope it's scanning me for the locked items, like that door in the room did."

"Shape determined. Please, lean on the plastic bed with your body."

"Shape? All right, babe. Show me the reward for going all the way to here." — Jen thought as she followed the orders.

When the second half of the 'plastic bed' joined the first one, making the girl immobile along with all her restraints, she started to worry. What if her assumptions were wrong? What if this machine was doing something entirely different? But then, it was unlikely to make matters worse, wasn't it?

"Inserting breathing, feeding and waste evacuation tubes. Thank you for choosing our product and prepare for individual permanent steel incapsulation."

"FOR WHAT?" — Jen started thrashing inside the plastic trap, but it successfully kept her from undoing her last and fatal mistake.

"Four non-sealed keyholes and two non-locked items detected. Preparing Keyhole Sealers."

"NO! LET ME OUT!" — she tried to sabotage the process, but the machine gently pushed the clasps of her booties into their respective boxes. Then the cement-like liquid found its way into the keyholes and started doing its job, producing hissing sounds and chemical steam.

"All six keyholes sealed. Applying steel capsule."

Jen felt the machine taking her out of the plastic bed with its strong manipulators. She did not attempt escape anymore; the hope for freedom was lost. As the two halves of steel armor closed upon her, enveloping everything including booties and mittens in perfectly fitted permanent steel, she silently accepted her fate of an immobile object that was probably to be put on display.
