The sticky sound ended when there was a loud sloppy pop, I looked over and my mom was looking down at Ellie. "That means its done cooking, pull it out the gloves are in that drawer." She said before quickly turning around.

I got closer to the counter knowing my mom would probably have me carrying it to the table. I heard her shifting about below the counter before my Girlfriend suddenly popped up her face flushed red and placing the food on the counter. She saw me looking and fanned her face. "It's a bit hot down there next to the oven."

Sure enough I ended up taking the food to the table as well. I got a quick kiss from my Girlfriend as I sat down next to her across from my mom, there was a strange taste to that kiss I couldn't really recognize.
