goblin homes and goblin architects

goblins live in caves, mines and other such places and though they are not very good at building, they can construct traps and have a basic set-up and layout with their housing structures. some rare goblins focus on building and architecture as when they appear they will drastically improve things within their village/nest, though they don't have the ability to assert themselves as the leader they will generally have great commanding authority. but don't let that deceive you, they are just as opportunistic and bloody as they will use their authority to secure private assets like women or exquisite private quarters which can often be better than the goblin lord or king's abode.

some of the changes that might occur with a goblin architect are things like watch towers, gates, waterways, and underground nests like moles to help to scout and goblins on patrol to stay hidden.

it is important to note that the goblin architects don't follow a specific rime or reason to their designs, though the designs themselves might be well thought out (if only to the most bare understanding which also involves many shortcuts). the goblin architect thrives on chaos and greed like any other goblin making their designs totally random and unfacilitated, the only saving grace is that, though a goblin architect might appear, they will be given bad blood by their fellow goblins and if they can gather the simple resources it would still be quite difficult. this is due to other goblins wanting to sabotage the architect so they might ascend themselves or simply see him fail. the last hurdle for the goblin architect is that the ones who usually oversee them like the shaman or lords will, on more than one occasionally, be more than sceptical and unreasonable. usually casting aside their ideas and plans which makes the threat of a goblin architect low, but not impossible, that being said this is only the dangers to the architects life, not including the resources necessary or skilled labourers to fulfil said tasks. also the problem with the location as was mentioned before, they don't take into account their surroundings for their plans and ideas so though they may plan around environments (sometimes), there will always be dangers and uncertainty.
