giving Sarah more than she wants

Tom knew that Sarah wanted him to build out a fantasy where she was disguised as his teen daughter living under the thumb of his girlfriend. He considered the effort that would take - multiple complicated wishes to build out a false history and identity for her, changes in the house and her possessions, even wishes to try to alter other peoples memories and knowledge of them. Frankly it felt like too much effort when there was far simpler solution. The fact that it wasn't exactly what Sarah wanted - in fact, it would actually strip her of power and autonomy, gave him a thrill. 'She will grow to love it,' Tom told himself, unable to resist the his new wish-created desires.

Sarah's eyes widened and she gasped as he spoke his wish: "I wish that without changing any of our memories or feelings, Sarah was my teenage daughter whose mother Amanda died a few years ago. I wish that Sarah's mother Amanda and I had basically had the life Sarah and I did before I got the coin." He felt satisfied that should cover the basics without altering his past too much. He grinned in triumph at Sarah's shocked expression. He toyed with the idea of letting her struggle in her new role but decided that he wanted her to focus on her demotion, being completely under his and Janet's authority rather than worrying about the mundane details of being a teen. "I wish Sarah could completely and convincingly pass as her new teen self." He purposefully left the wish vague, thinking that would be more interesting.

Sarah stuttered "Tom, but this isn't what I want...."

He cut her off. "No, Sarah, it's not what you asked for. But isn't it what you want, really? Trust me, I'm doing you a favor," and he made his final wish to bring her new step-mother Janet into their lives.
