day before

Deciding to take advantage of the room offered naruko arrived around noon the day before the party. showing the invitation to the guard he quickly let her inside. she was then led to her room by a maid.

"here you go Uzumaki-sama. you are the first to arrive but we are expecting others to arrive later in the afternoon. also Tokugawa sama has asked for you to join him during lunch in half an hour," the maid said.

"thank you and I would love to join him," said naruko. "just give me sometime to dress properly and you can lead me to the dining room."

"of course," said the maid as she stepped to the side and waited for naruko to get dressed. a few minutes later naruko returns in a beautiful kimono. the maid then leads her to the dinning room where Tokugawa was waiting.

"naruko I'm so glad you could make it," he said with a smile.

"the pleasure is all mine Ieyasu-sama," naruko said.

"Please just call me Tokugawa," he said. "now please sit lunch is just about ready. I believe we can discuss some business before other guest arrive after lunch."

"of course Tokugawa," naruko said. they had a nice lunch with naruko using all the manners Tsunade and Sakura had beaten into her head. once it was done Naruko and Tokugawa started talking business.
