A sudden bean of light shone through a small crack the orange light gave Reece the sense of how long he had been there. With no warning the entire boat moaned and groaned. Something was wrong. With a sudden realization. The room was filling with water. Rushing to the door he pushed his way through the rising water as he swam for his life. Then the noise stopped and with as much speed as it ended the boat began to sink rapidly diving to the depths of the sea floor. The amazing roughness the ship was thrown round. Surprised Reece as he was also thrown back and forth. Smacking his head a few times didn’t seem too serious as he tried his best not to panic. BANG, his head hit the walls again this time with a **** quadruple the amount he felt before. Reece’s body floated **** in the corridor of the ship. Suddenly something grabbed his limp body. And with a speed only described as a feat of magic. Reece was now outside the ship laying on his back, spewing water out his lungs as a shadow loomed over him. Almost like it lent down to kiss each of his eyes the shadow disappeared and seamed to melt into his skin. Water spewed from his mouth as he coughed and wheezed for air. Looking round he tried to spot the shadow that once loomed over him. But whatever it was, was long gone. Or so he thought. Checking the captains journal, he found it bone dry to his delight and so was he. Walking through the jungle tried to get his bearings as it seemed like a new day. As he re-emerged into camp, his mom was curled up under a tree as tears poured out her eyes.
