Looking up to the sound of sand moving under foot her surprise was evident by her diving at Him and wrestling him to the floor. She hugged him and squeezed as she cried into his chest. “I looked everywhere for you. I couldn’t find you for so long I… I thought you were gone too.” His mom’s words ran through his ears “I’d never leave you.” His voice was strong and comforting to her and soothed her worries as she lay on him. “I have something for you.” Reece whispered into his mother’s ear. Her sadness and fear melted away as he rolled her over and fidgeted in his pocket. He pulled forth the silver chain decorated with an icy blue pendent. “I found this on an amazing old ship in a beautiful out-cove I wish you could have seen it. Sadly, the ships gone now but I got this for you.” His glee shone through his voice and his eyes sparkled with excitement. She looked at the pendent dangling in front of her it sparkled in the midday light with beauty incomparable to anything she had seen in jewellery shops. “Wow.” Her breathy whisper took over her sorrowful sobs. Then she saw the ring on Reece’s index finger. The pendent and ring were a set. As she stared in complete calm Reece placed it round her neck and pulled the gem down, so it wrested between her large breasts.
