Your Father is back

All of you stood on the doorstep in shock as your father opened the door to greet you.

“Ah, I wondered where you all were” he said, before turning his back to you all and moving further into the house.

None of you had expected him to show up at this time of day, especially Mom who was usually the first to know when he would have the chance to drop by. You turned around and found his car parked on the sidewalk which you had somehow missed when you passed by earlier. The other thing that caught your eye was that Lucy immediately rushed to her car and was driving off before any of you could even say goodbye. Mom just sighed and headed inside as if she had expected this to happen while you and Sarah were still contemplating what to do next.

Eventually, you both stepped inside from the porch and followed after Mom to see that your father had settled down on the living room couch. It felt weird seeing him make himself at home considering he was hardly ever here but he did technically live here so you couldn't exactly fault him. He had said in the past that his job kept him busy most weekends and due to the commute, he hardly had any time to come and visit. That was what he said anyway. The fact that whenever you called him on the weekend when you were younger and he was either drunk or cut the call short to go and play golf, had you highly doubting his words.

“Would you three mind going upstairs while I talk with your mother” asked your father with his back to you both while he watched the TV, not even realising that Lucy was no longer even here.

You both looked in Mom’s direction and she gave you a casual wave of the hand to say everything was okay, before you both headed up the stairs. As much as you wanted to stay and listen in to the conversation, the closest you could risk it without being seen was at the top of the stairs, and with the TV being switched on, you could barely make out any voices, let alone what they were saying so you headed off to your room. It was possible to make it downstairs without being seen but it depended on which couch people were sitting on and you had no way of knowing who was sitting where.

“You're not gonna stay and listen?” Sarah quietly asked, hoping you would join in her spying attempt.

“Nah it's not worth getting caught. And besides, I think we both need to get our stories straight now that we don't have Mom and Lucy cornering us into confessing”

“Oh yeah!” Sarah beamed, realising the opportunity you had been granted and following you down the corridor with a spring in her step.

You opened your door and let Sarah in before closing it behind you. You could have locked it for some additional privacy but with Lucy out of the picture and Mom now preoccupied, you highly doubted anyone would be interrupting you for a while. You turned back away from the door just in time to see Sarah launch herself onto your bed without a care in the world.

“Did you really have to do that?” you asked, getting a stuck-out tongue in response before she lay down on her stomach and started playing with her phone.

With a sigh, you walked over to your desk and booted up your PC almost by reflex. A quick check of the time revealed it was still only around 4 pm, and there was plenty of time left before you expected Mom to call you down. It was unlikely that you would be having dinner at a normal time considering the amount of food you had all already eaten but maybe Mom would end up cooking for your father.

Him being in the house meant you had one more person to worry about when dealing with the KDK and getting Mom to do anything when he was still here was unlikely to go well. You really hoped he wouldn’t be here long and were regretting the one week time limit you had restricted yourself with for dealing with Mom. At least the feeling was mutual with Lucy running away and from the looks of it, Sarah didn't seem to enjoy him being here either.

She looked pretty relaxed now but the earlier atmosphere when we first came into the house wasn't what you would call pleasant. With your attention drawn back to your sister, you couldn't help but think of how close a call Lucy’s revelation would have been without Sarah stepping in.

“Hey, err. I know I didn't say it before but thanks for sticking up for me back there. They probably would have never spoken to me again if you didn't jump in to save the day” you joked. You wanted to make your apology sound more sincere than you already had but Sarah seemed to accept it all the same.

“Don’t mention it. Just help me out when they corner me next time” she replied with a giant grin.

“Anything else you want in return? I know you just got a phone out of me but I can give you one free favour if you want?” you offered, not knowing what you could actually give to her other than that.

“Hmm, I can’t think of anything now but I’ll bank it for later”

“Cool, now I think we should start going through our story before it gets too late” you advised getting a nod from Sarah before she put her phone away and listened to the details you had come up with.

You wanted it to be pretty close to the truth in case Mom or Lucy ended up asking you something you hadn't thought of an excuse for and you needed to think on your feet. Some details had to obviously change though. Like the fact that your sister had jerked you off with both her hands and feet on the very bed she was now relaxing on.

You ended up going with something pretty simple compared to what had actually happened and wasn’t much different from what she had already revealed at the restaurant. You and Sarah had a mutual agreement that she would deliver you underwear and that you would let her have priority when it came to a few things. Stuff like bathroom privileges if you both wanted to use it at the same time, some of her chores could be passed over to you, etc.

That was the main difference from her earlier explanation which was pretty good considering she had to make it up on the spot. This way it sounded less like **** and more like an exchange. Other than that, you both went through questions that you thought you would end up getting asked. Stuff like how long this had gone on for and how you did the handover were just a couple but you both felt like you had managed to get the majority of what could be asked out of the way.

You were just about finished when you heard a car pull up to the front of the house. Sarah took a quick peek out of your window and let you know that Lucy had returned from wherever she had disappeared off to. You knew that Lucy would probably not want to see you right now given the circumstances but having your father greet her at the door would most likely send her running back to her car again.

“I’ll go before she suspects anything” Sarah said, pushing herself off the bed before heading towards the door.

You realised that you had spent so much time worrying about what Mom and Lucy would do, that you hadn’t even attempted to raise Sarah’s level on the KDK. She was still at least 5 minutes away from level 3 if you had solid contact and although that didn't seem implausible, it was gonna be hard to find an opportunity if Mom and Lucy were watching you constantly. Missing almost free time like this was something that you really needed to avoid and with the seconds lost with Mom at the cinema, you’d need to get your head in the game. For now though, keeping Sarah happy and on your side seemed like a good idea.

“Don't forget to think up a favour for me to complete” you replied, hoping she would use it sooner rather than later.

“Sure, sure. You're gonna regret it though” she teased from over her shoulder, not even turning back around as she headed towards her room.
