You try to build a nest.

By this point, it is approaching the evening, and the sky has taken a noticeably darker hue. You take a quick peak at Catherine's loot bag - some scrap ore, basic stone tools, and a new item you hadn't seen before called a Claimant Crystal - take the interesting stuff, and then leap into the air, swiftly clearing the trees. A brief scouting session later, and you find a crevice in which to set up your nest for the night, protected from both the elements and any potential enemies by sheer cliff faces to either side. Piling the sticks you've collected on the ground, you punch them firmly, calling up a building menu.

Selecting 'yes', you begin to hit the pile, rapidly filling up the rather short progress bar that has appeared above it. As it reaches completion, you hear a sound that makes your blood run cold.

You'd heard that sound once before, whilst watching an adventurer attempting to cast a spell of some kind or another, and you could tell from their reaction that it was a bad thing. Turning your head downwards confirms your fears - in front of you lay not a finished nest, but your original pile of sticks. More interestingly, a message hovers in front of the pile.

Hold on, a Claimant Crystal? Didn't you just get one of those?

You pull up your inventory and sure enough, there it is, the solution to your problem. You are about to use it when you are struck by a horrible implication of the text you just read - if you needed to claim land to build on it, then you'd have to sleep in the land you claimed for the rest of your life. In that case, you decide, you definitely don't want it to be here. Still, its way too late to find somewhere else now, so you settle in for an uncomfortable night lying on the cold, hard stone of the crevice floor.
