You quickly become friends

When you come back the next day, you find your fox-girl sleeping with the cloth you gave her last night wrapped around her. You wake her up and show her the clothes you brought. You tell her to try some on and pick the ones she likes the best. Whenever she changes clothes, you make certain to take a few looks at her. Plenty are the times you manage to get a look at her butt with her two tails flapping from left to right. Eventually she settles on a shirt that keeps her flat belly revealed and a skirt so short it barely covers her butt.
Once she is dressed she walks to you and asks when her first lesson in magic begins.

You have never had an apprentice before. You honestly never had the time. Usually you were studying magic. Learning what little obscure spells you didn’t know already or try to invent new ones. If you weren’t doing that, you were most likely doing a job for the royals. Teaching magic to someone other than yourself is a completely new experience.

You start by teaching Doe the basics theories of magic. The different elements and what each of them feels like. She listens attentively and waits patiently for you to explain yourself.
After a while you teach her how to cast a simply spell. One that generates a ball of light. Amazingly, upon the first try she successfully casts it. The look of amazement on her face made you smile. She looked so cute while she carefully held her first spell in her hands.

As the days go by she quickly becomes adept at other basic spells. Seeing her learn magic so quickly makes you think back of when you were a student. It makes you wonder if she always had this talent hidden inside her, or if it’s something that came to her when you infused her with fox-DNA.
