You get a message (his friend)

You wake up from the noise of your WhatsApp going off. Annoyed you pick up your phone at look at the current time: 5:21 AM. Starting to get mad you look at the three new messages you've received.

05:18 - ? : Hey!

05:18 - ? : Is this Juliette?

05:20 - ? : Jasper gave this number to me a long time ago in case of an emergency.

As you turn your head with a very displeased look you silently curse at Jasper, who's lying next to you, for giving your number too his weird friends.

05:23 - Juliette : Yes this is Juliette. Now firstly who are you? And what kind of emergency do you need him for?

*It’d better be important for him to wake me up at 5 AM! * you think to yourself as you wait for his response.

05:25 - Mark : It’s me Mark. I know it’s early, but I was just worried as he didn’t show up at the bar like usual and he haven’t answered any of my calls.

As you think about all Jasper’s friends you’ve met, Mark definitely stands out the most. He’s one of Jasper’s best friends and by far the cockiest person you’ve ever met. He always talks about the monster hiding in pants and how many girls he’s been with, when you’ve occasionally joined them at the local bar. Jasper told you that Mark always starts running his mouth talking gibberish when he’s drunk so you always ignored just his stupid and frantic jokes. You remember once at the bar when he grabbed your big round ass. He apologized immediately and told you and Jasper he thought it was just some tramp passing by. You got very mad as he basically called you a whore but Jasper told you to leave it as Mark was clearly way too intoxicated to realise what he said.

05:31 – Juliette : Jasper is fine. I kept him from going out last night as he looked very tired from work. Now can you stop texting me so I can get some sleep!

You close your eyes as you try to fall asleep. You keep tossing and turning in the bed but to no avail. Realizing you can’t fall asleep anymore you sit up and pick up your phone again. Mark hasn’t answered.
