You don't have time for this

There's a contest going on for who will marry Eliza, and you need to win. This is not the time for distractions. No matter how pretty they may be.

"Sorry girls, busy!" you shout, darting away from your voyeur's post.

Rushing about, you realize randomly searching will get you nowhere. You will need to apply some thought to this. Looking around the garden, which is more like a small woods you see that there is small hill closer to the entrance. On this hill are several trees. From there you could have a vantage spot that would overlook a good portion of the garden. If the jewels contain any gems they may reflect the light from the sun and allow you to spot them, just like a signal mirror would do the same for a boat at sea. You remember reading about different methods that sailors used to communicate with other ships. The idea of using mirrors and bending them slightly had always intrigued you when you had read about it.

At the hill you work your way up the easiest tree to climb. Once in a good spot, and taking care not to look down, you begin a complete scan of the area. After several minutes the tree bends slightly in the wind and something catches your eye off of a rocky outcropping toward the back of the garden.

Moving your head back and forth the glint catches in the sunlight again. That must be the place the jewels are located.

None of the other men seem to be trying the same as you are doing. One in fact even seems to be attempting to convince the nymphs to tell him the location of the jewels.

Sprinting towards the back of the garden you reach the rocks and scamper up to the top. Lying on a small ledge and glistening in the sun is an exquisite gold brooch.

Carefully placing the brooch in your pocket you look around for any others. No one seems to have noticed your success.

As unassuming as you can, you make your way back to the entrance with your prize. Content in the knowledge that yet another point is yours.
