You decide to take Ashley up on her offer and go to dinner with her, since she would probably be bringing the contract with her and all.

When the night of the date arrived, you weren't kept waiting long, as Ashley showed up in the same thing she had worn to your office for your first meeting with her, and also showed up with a pen in her hand.

"I could've done this at my place and shown up with it signed, but I really wanted you to see me sign it in person John," she tells you as she inks her name to the contract, sliding it over to you right as your dinner arrives, "now we can get down to business."

"I've been watching your career for awhile now Ashley," you tell her, looking over some notes you have on your laptop, "and I truly believe that you have so much more to offer than what you've been given."

"I knew I liked you for a reason," she replies to you, brushing her hair back so she can look you in the eyes, but the moment passing before anything happens between the two of you.

The night does start to get away from you, though, and after you have paid for dinner, both of you decide to take your business elsewhere and see where it goes.

"I don't usually like to mix business and pleasure John," she tells you as you walk out of the restaurant together, "but I think I can make an exception for you."
