That response could be taken to mean a lot of things, and should probably be clarified a bit before we resume.

From an early age, you’ve never been much of a social person. That’s not to say you were a complete lone wolf, shunning all forms of human contact (by choice or otherwise). But you definitely found a preference in being able to socialize in limited doses. Companionship is still nice to have, but being a solo act has suited your lifestyle fairly well.

One of the bigger benefits has been the ability to move around constantly. With little to no roots in any one place, you’ve been able to travel for some time and enjoy the sights anywhere between a few days and a few months. Having a home to go back to has sounded good every so often, but nowhere you’ve been ever quite felt right.

Depending on who you ask, you can come across as shy, aloof, withdrawn, stoic, and/or moody. In your words though, you just generally enjoy having your own space. If you feel like making jokes with people, you make jokes with them. If you don’t want to socialize, you keep your distance from the conversation and stay out of it. It’s mostly just annoying when someone attempts to “****” you into something you’ve made clear you’re not interested in doing at that moment. It’s not an outright lie to say that a good number of troubles have been caused by especially pushy people like that. Sure, some of your…reactions have been a tad ****. But honestly, they lived after everything was said and done. That had to count for something, right?
