You are a hero

The tower rumbles as though you were in an earthquake. You grab Angel, draping an arm around your shoulder. You head straight to the stairs.

As you descend the tower begins to shake again. You manage to stumble down several flights of stairs without falling. Another couple of flights and a large chunk of black stone falls from above.

Angel looks at you. "Just leave me. Save yourself."

You shake your head no and continue down. The whole tower seems to be shaking with each step you take. You dodge ever larger pieces of stone. Finally, you exit the door.

As you sprint to move away from the building the entire thing collapses. Angel seems to be passed out.

You aren't sure whether or not Beth could have survived that, but you aren't willing to wait around to find out. You manage to find a running car. You slip Angel in the back and drive to her house.

You haul her in and chuck her on the bed. You lay down and rest. Sleep quietly takes you.

You wake to a pale, haggard, sickly looking, Angel shaking you.

"Thank you so much for saving my life."

"Did we just save the world again?" You ask groggily.

"I think so. We should hit the town and celebrate. You can borrow some clothes."

Angel goes into the bathroom and comes out with makeup looking gorgeous. She lets you pick and choose from her closet. You finally decide on a tight black dress. Initially you try on high heels. After, a near fall you settle on black flats.

"Well, c'mon BJ. Let's go see if you're straight!"
