You Carry on? (this should be good)

you carry on approaching, now drawing you Halberd its long axe head pointing in caution, you ask if he is friend or foe once more before it began; THE STRUGGLE.

with immense speed he swing his blade, you only just able to dodge away, he attacked relentlessly swing his Katana with more precision than you could perceive. he landed a hit, making you stagger as a massive wound on your shoulder opened up, you ran back drinking from your estus which made the wound close promptly, your armour had slight damage but nothing to serious, you tried to attack back two handing your Halberd and charging in to stab him with the end, he dodge with ease landing another hit on you as you bled, you tried again and again, missing every attack until he did it, putting the blade back in its sheath he stood in a defensive stance, "Yes he's open!" you thought charging for a heavy hitting attack.

it was so fast, one minute your blade was destined to cut his chest open, the next his blade slid from it's sheath and pushed away his halberd parrying your attack perfectly making you stagger back, he came in close running you through with his blade, the cold steel creating a cracking pain that resonated through your whole body, you feel to the stone floor hard, the cold and dark weight of **** filling you as you slipped away into ****.

You Died!

...your eyes opened slowly, picking your self up from the floor as your vision cleared "Firelink?" you said rubbing your head, remembering what happened you quickly looked to your chest which was fine, unharmed, but I died? you sat at the bonfire the warmth empowering you again.

it was seconds before vengeance filled your mind as you lifted you halberd and marching back to the Swordsman to make him pay for felling you so easily.

time after time, attempt after attempt; you died and every time you awoke at the bonfire, sometimes you were to slow, sometimes he was too fast and sometimes he parried you killing you in a single strike, every time you lost your souls.

eventually you just gave up sat at the bonfire, staring at the ground in deep thought, eventually you got bored of that an began wandering around the shrine in thought, how could i beat him, you thought eventually you went up stairs to the right while wondering finding nothing but an empty path, but when you went up to the left stairwell you noticed an opening to a balcony like path, their was a large tree, it seemed slightly humanoid with a large void where the face would be; in front of the large tree was the Fire Keeper, she was sat talking... to the tree "wow how lonely is this girl?" you thought approaching.

"Hey what are you up to?" you said touching the Keeper on the shoulder, she jumped up in surprise "Ashen one!" she said taking a breath of relief "did I frighten you?" she shook her head turning red again "who are you talking to?"
"nobody!" she said quickly ignoring the tree now "were you talking to the tree?" you said pointing at the large tree, she again shook her head "don't be silly Ashen One I just came to look at it" okay? you sat by the tree r=resuming your deep thought, the Keeper hesitated by came to sit next to you keeping a fair space between you "what is the matter Ashen one?" she said with real concern, you explained the situation with the swordsman beside the shrine, she identified him as the Swordmaster and that he went Hollow a long time Ago.

you asked if she knew a way to beat him, this is when she explained that with the power of souls she could increase your strength, giving you enough power to beat him, she also mentioned that you would have to gather many souls for this first, now having a way to carry out your **** you marched off,leaving the fire keeper to busy with thoughts of defeating the Swordmaster to say goodbye.
