What is Emily's answer?
You've never been with a real man before
"Well...um...I don't know. I've never been with a real man before," you finally answer.
"See? You're my kind of girl all right. You admit you haven't been with a real man before, but I know you'd like to be. You're probably very tired of all those young bucks out there who can only think about one thing. They only want to please themselves, while a real man wants to please you and himself." The man smiles at you. "Well, am I right?"
You think about all the jerks you've met so far, and how you've always been a hopeless romantic awaiting your prince charming to come and sweep you off your feet. "Yeah, I guess you are," you answer with a nervous smile, not sure where this is leading to.
The man smiles at you and turns his attention back to driving. The houses don't look too bad along the main road, but once he makes a left turn, that changes. Run down houses stick out at you like sore thumbs needing immediate attention while groups of dangerous looking men and boys loiter on the sidewalk. Some of them turn and smile at you and the driver of the car. After a right turn and three more houses, the car comes to a stop in front of one of the nicer looking houses you've seen in the Hood. A few women dressed like sluts in short dresses or skirts stand out front. When they see the car, they smile and walk over. One of the women opens your door for you. Another one opens the driver's door, allowing the man to get out.
"Hey Clubber, who's the new girl?" the one who opened the driver's door asks. The man looks like he could shoot daggers out of his eyes at her. "She's no new girl, Baby Jane. She's in trouble. I brought her here so she could call for help. Her car got a flat out on the main drag."
"Oh, I see," nods Baby Jane. "You want me and Clover to show her where the phone is?"
"Yeah, now that would be nice of you. Why don't you both do that, then make sure she's all nice and comfy until her help arrives?" Clubber smiles reassuringly at you. "Just go in with these two nice young ladies, and they'll show you where the phone is. I'll be right behind you in a couple of minutes to make sure you're all right."
A tall, dark skinned beauty walks over to you. she's dressed in a purple plaid skirt and white top that's tied in a knot just below her ample breasts. "What's your name honey?" she asks you, smiling. "You can call me Clover."
"Emily," you answer.
"Come with me Emily, and I'll show you where the phone is." Clover puts her arm around your shoulders and walks with you into the house.
The inside of the house looks much bigger than the outside of the house would suggest. Clover takes you into a large parlor that is well furnished. There's even a big screen TV on the wall. At present it's turned on, and there before your eyes is a movie called "Which Hole Michelle?" in vivid high definition. at least the sound is muted.
You look around and see the phone is in use. A thin redhead, dressed in a red sweater and red plaid skirt holds the receiver up against her ear. "Hey Crimson" yells Clover. "Get off the phone now. This girl's car broke down. She needs to call someone." The redhead complies, and quickly hangs up. She smiles at you on her way out the door. "Damn, you're cute!" she says, smiling at you. Not knowing what else to say, you thank her politely. What a strange place this is, you think to yourself.
Clover hands you the phone. The first number you decide to try is your father's cell phone. If anyone can help you, he can. You dial the number and the phone rings. "Hello?" your dad answers.
"Daddy? It's me, Emily."
"What is it pumpkin?" he asks you.
"My car broke down, I have a flat tire, and there's no spare."
"Oh damn!" your father says. "Listen, I'm in a meeting that's going to last for quite a while. There's no way I can get away. Can your mother come and get you? We'll fix your tire later when I get home. I'm really sorry honey."
"All right Daddy. I'll go ahead and call her now."
"Okay. I love you pumpkin. Bye."
"Bye Daddy."
You dial your mom's cell phone. Fortunately your mom answers. She promises to come and get you as soon as possible, which will probably be in a couple of hours. Clover is kind enough to get on the phone with her, and give her directions. Then she hands the phone back to you.
"Clover sounds like a very nice person, honey" says your mom. "I'm sure you'll be fine there until I can get there. As soon as my appointment is finished, I'll be there."
"Okay mom. I'll stay here until you get here. I love you."
"I love you, too , honey. Bye."
Well at least your mom will be here. You suppose it's better to wait here than to go walking through the Hood back to your car. The thought of walking scares you to death, and so does the thought of waiting for help to arrive back at your car. At least things can't get any worse, you hope.
"Hey guys, I thought Emily here could use a drink, and maybe some snacks," Baby Jane says as she brings in a tray of crackers and cheese, and three wine coolers.
"Thank you," you say, smiling up at Baby Jane. "My throat is parched." You take a wine cooler from the tray, and notice for the first time that it's an alcoholic drink. "Oh, I don't think I should drink this. It has alcohol in it. my mom will kill me, and my dad will too."
"Relax, it's only one. What can one drink do to you? Your mom won't find out. Come on, sweetie, have a drink with us" coaxes Clover.
Your mom did say she wouldn't be there for a couple of hours, and that wine cooler looks awfully tempting. You watch as Clover and Baby Jane sip theirs. What would one drink hurt?
Do you drink the cooler or not? What happens after?
