Chapter 3 by HistoricoPublius HistoricoPublius

What makes your approach to your faith different?

You're a knowledgeable student of the divine and mundane

Ionus is a god who values study, and that was one thing that did stick from all of the training that you did in his temple. While you're no scholar, you are extremely well-read for someone with such an itinerant lifestyle, and you've found that your knowledge on all sorts of esoterica - including magic, strange beasts, religion (of course), and local law - has come in handy more than once on your travels. If cash is the coin of the realm, knowledge is the key to the front door in a lot of places.

You sigh. Of course, knowledge won't buy you passage on a caravan out of town...though you wish it would. You arrived here with your group of friends, decided to stay to look for adventure and make your own way, and have since been bored out of your skull. It's possible there isn't any adventure to be had here, you reflect morosely. But now you've not enough coin left to leave...

Gorto snaps you out of your dour contemplations by thunking two foamy mugs of ale onto the bar in front of you. "Here yeh go, Gavilard," he says cheerily. "Enjoy 'em!" You nod your thanks and pass a couple of coins across the bar in payment.

What's next?
