Chapter 15

Who is the owner of the raft?
Yikes! It's a Lich! (Horned Lich)
You feel a stab of fear course through your body. And you stiffen at the sight of the occupant of the raft.
It was a dried up corpse shrouded by a heavy cowl.
Just as you are about to relax thinking the occupant of the raft was long dead, it turns towards you.
A bone deep chill baptizes your body with dread. It is not dead, it was undead.
Subconsciously you make the snap decision that **** by squirmies is a better way to go than at the hand of this creature that invokes such a primordial dread inside of you.
You let ego of the rope that you had been clinging on to with a **** grip and splash your tail as you slide quickly off the raft.
With inhuman speed the creature on the raft lunges, grabbing one of your webbed hands in a vice like wizened grip.
It's gaunt skeletal face staring into your own transformed face. A somber light flickers in its abyssal eye-sockets with an unnerving intelligence.
Beneath its cowl you can see an array of horns protruding from its hairless skull.
"What have we here?" It rasps its voice as much a physical phenomenon as a telepathic one which penetrates your mind like a slippery tongue.
You'd encountered a Horned Lich! A cunning undead capable of wielding magic and commanding hoards of mindless beasts and undead should it have access to such. Unlike the common Lich, (a terrifying existence in and of itself), the horned Lich still possessed muscular tissues making it more adept at close quarters combat if it so deigned.
Just like the Nekt this is a legendary creatures, and undoubtedly malevolent in all the horror themed stories it featured in. In contrast to simple Liches - terrifying creatures as they were - who had once been warlocks who had delved too deeply into necromancy, a horned Lich was said to manifest from places of malice where **** had putrefied all that was living.
If the stories are true, this being had never know life.
Nameless and genderless, it has been born into its existence, just like the Nekt you'd barely managed to kill.
You want to shit yourself.
What should you do??
