What! That’s a thing. You’d only ever seen futanari orcs; it never occurred to you they had females too. Her goals are good, I don’t wanna get in the way of that, you begin to think but are cut off as Del’Ya continues. “So I guess I wanna go with you. It seems that what you are doing, Gartha kinda filled me in, is gonna change the world and if a female orc helps you accomplish it… I think that’ll do a lot of good” Del’Ya states confidently.

“Ok then if you want to do this I’ll go through with it”.

Del’Ya smiles at this “Thanks Yorrick”.

The ritual actually doesn’t require a lot of set up so Del’Ya walks you through it right then and there. You both draw the incantation circle on each other's forearms and recite the prayer, then you focus your energy into the circle causing slight pain as it burns into your skins linking both of you… forever.

As the ceremony is complete there is this awkwardness in the air “Um... “ Del’Ya starts “I’ll just clean all this up” she says, picking up the different instruments and incenses used in the ritual “and get out of your hair”.

“Del’Ya you don’t have to leave…” You say unsure of what the appropriate way to talk to Del’Ya now that she is bound to you. “I kinda have some questions and stuff about what we just did. I know now is the wrong time to be clarifying things but everything just seemed to happen so fast and now that things calm down i kinda wanna ask you about them” you explain.

“Oh goddess, you’re already regretting it aren’t you… I’m sorry if it felt like I **** you into this…

You quickly cut her off “No no it isn’t that at all. Don’t worry I’m totally happy with being linked to you in this life debt, that's not really what I had questions about. I wanted to take the time to learn more about you and what you want out of life and what exactly I’m supposed to do with this life debt… with… with you. Sorry… Sorry that i felt how weird that was as i was saying it” You quickly try to walk back what you just said.

Del’Ya chuckles, “ok I can explain some more then, what do you wanna know”.

“Well for starters what does this life debt entail? Like what do my commands mean to now, are you like a maid/servant or are you more like a squire, or like a mercenary?”

“First of since we are now close… being linked and all why don’t you just call me Del. Secondly, Um… the rules technically would mean I’m a ****. I must obey every command” Del turns away a bit at the end she seems to be blushing.

“Oh… well what holds you to that” you inquire “is this magical” you ask pointing to the mark on your forearm now.

“Well It’s a mixture, this is slightly magical, it can be used a few different ways. It can slowly influence my mood to a certain emotion, it can make me completely docile to you, or it can just be a basic mark. The magic isn’t super strong so the main thing linking us is my honor, my honor for myself and my honor for my monastery and our ways, breaking either would make me an outcast with them” She says in a much more serious tone.

“Interesting” you state quietly almost just to yourself. “What are your goals long term past all of this with Rakdos”.

“I hope to show the strength of female orcs and I can do that by fighting alongside you and helping to take down Rakdos”.

You continue to chat with Del long into the night until Lady Pursenon returns and asks her to leave. She checks all your wounds again and freshens up some of the bandaging.

This time your recovery time is long, or maybe it just feels that way because it’s hard to do anything with 2 arms broken but Del has become your arms over this recovery, she’s always there to help when you need it. Lady Pursenon is quite skilled as a physician and definitely helps the recovery go really smoothly, but it’s been about a week so far and you’re still bed ridden, Even with your arms partially recovering your energy still feels drained somehow.
