Richard was stunned at what he saw, but only for a second as Lily didn't wait up for him and was getting farther away from him, about to disappear around a corner.

"Hey, wait up!" Richard shouted, jogging to catch back up with Lily.

As he rounded the corner he saw a long corridor, almost twice as long as the room he was in earlier. There were a couple people walking through the hall, going from room to room on either side. Some of them carried scrolls and seemed to be so absorbed in what they were reading they surely would walk straight into a wall. They all wore black robes with streaks of colors wrapping around them, red, blue, green, and white from what Richard saw.

"Who are those people?" Richard asked, catching his breath.

"Those are our scribes, they help us find different magical objects and users, such as the ring and yourself. We should have noticed the ring before, but it seemed to be dormant until you activated it."

"You're saying there are other magical objects like my ring?"

"Yes, and no. A lot of the objects we search for are no where near the power that your ring posses, very few do. We only have a couple fallen relics and those took thousands of years to find. In the wrong hands, they can be extremely dangerous which is why we hope you will work with us, instead of against us otherwise it could end badly for you", Lily said, scaring Richard for a second before he noticed she had a smile on her face but he still wasn't totally convinced she was joking.

"You said, us, I assume there are others like me?"

As he asked his question, he peered into a room to see small goblins wearing what looked like doctors clothes, carrying clipboards, studying a large red dragon. One of them noticed Richard and promptly shut the door in his face. He could have sworn that he saw some sort of device hooked up to the underside of the dragon, he wasn't quite sure why it was there but figured better not to ask.

"Correct", Lily said, not noticing what had just happened. "Those who have the ability to seek out, find, and use magical objects are called seekers. While everyone here can use magic, it is stronger in some than it is in others. No matter how much magic poses, everyone here helps towards the same goal in any way possible."
