The members of House Arecae tend to sit closer together than any other house, and this is true for the first years as well. Plenty of them are sitting on the floor rather than the edge of the group. You catch eyes with a few students on your way over. One, a boy sitting on the very edge, trying too hard to not be noticed. A very tall girl sitting near the center, where it is at its most packed, fidgeting nervously. When she sees you, she beckons you over. A boy who seems to ignore you after a glance at your chest and body tells him that you're not his type. And two girls sitting on the floor, one braiding the other one's hair, who whisper to each other and giggle before waving you over.
