Max rewinds time, noticing her clothes moving around her until just after she steps into the closet. Her clothes are pooled at her feet and she quickly gets dressed so she doesn't face them naked.

"Hey, is that Reefer?! I can't believe you brought marijuana into this house!" he said, prompting Max to act.

"No! Stop!" Max yelled.

"What the... Who the hell are you?!" Chloe's step-dad asked.

"I'm...a friend of Chloe's. I brought the weed." Max explained.

"I knew Chloe was hanging out with some lowlifes. You better stay away from her if you what good for you." he said, leaving the room in a huff.

"Max! That was so badass, you totally saved my bacon!" Chloe said, hugging her.

Max thought about it and tried to think. Now that she knew both sides, should she go back in time and stay in the closet this time? Chloe was happier now, but now they didn't have any evidence that her step-dad wasn't who he seemed.
