"Thanks for coming with me John...but I guess it's time to find out," she tells you at the **** store a few weeks later, having finally convinced herself to go buy a pregnancy test after missing her period.

"Ashley...are you sure you couldn't have gotten someone else to do this for you?" you ask her, not really wanting to cause a scene as she finds a pregnancy test and goes to check out.

"This is Hollywood baby...someone would've found out it was for me one way or the other," she reassures you as you leave the **** store with her and head back to her place with her, ready for the moment of truth.

"Wish me luck baby...or whatever your idea of "luck" is in this situation..." she teases you, kissing you as she goes to take it, leaving you to listen for any sign of what the test said as you listened in from the other side.

"It's blue, I'm pregnant," she tells you, blurting it out as she peeks her head out of her bathroom door, not sure what you're reaction was going to be.

"Ash...would you be mad if I admitted to you that I was kind of hoping it would be blue?" you ask her, deciding to lay it all out there, even though doing it right after she found out she was pregnant might not be the best way to go.
