Chapter 13 by AddickTara
Do you accept the proposal?
Yes
“Well, If you're sure you'll be okay.”
The old woman waved a hand dismissively. “Of course I'll be okay,” she said. “I'll be fine for a couple of hours. You two go and have some fun.”
You hesitate but then nodded and looked across at Tyrone and smiled. “Well then, What do you want to do?”
He looks up at you in surprise and then shrugged. “I don't mind,” he said. “Whatever you want.”
Thoughts immediately racing through your mind.
Grandma suddenly interjected, a twinkle in her eye. “How about the cinema?” she suggested. “There's that new romantic comedy out."
You feel your cheeks heat up slightly but smile politely. “That sounds good,” before turning to Tyrone. “Is that okay with you?”
He nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. “Sure,” he said. “Sounds great.”
You stand up and smoothed down your dress. “Well then,” trying to sound casual. “We'll get going. What time will you be wanting him home?” you asked, turning to Grandma.
The old woman grinned at her. “Don't worry about me,” she said. “Have fun. And take as long as you like.”
You nod before turning to Tyrone, who had stood up. “Ready?”
He smiles and nods. “Ready,” he replied.
As you walked towards the car, you can't help but sneak glances at Tyrone.
He was wearing a pair of black jeans that hugged his muscular legs and a red t-shirt that showed off his toned arms. You find yourself admiring his physique and have to **** yourself to look away. You tell yourself that you're being ridiculous. He is half your age. But as you reached your car and he turns to you, and you can't deny the attraction you felt.
“Thanks for doing this,” he said, looking at you gratefully.
“It's my pleasure,”
