Kari showed up at your office in a tight green dress and arrived in plenty of time for you to make the meeting with the Discovery Channel people.

"I hope this goes well," she tells you, going on to mention how she would love to sign with you and have it lead to more opportunities to branch out away from the channel and the show.

Due to a slight change of plans, though, the Discovery people decided a teleconference was more their speed, and that allowed you to really grill them about their treatment of Kari.

When they had no answers for you about the fact that she was not on an equal pay scale with her male co-hosts, you know you have them on the run, Kari smiling and grabbing your arm when they cower and allow her to sign a separate talent contract with you.

After they angrily hung up the phone, Kari and you begin discussing her future plans away from the show, and pretty soon she found a pen and officially signed on the dotted line with you.

"Now that I've signed this, how about we go out and celebrate tonight John?" she asks you, leading you out the door of your office.

"Sure, Kari, what did you have in mind?" you ask her as you both head out the door, unsure what the night to follow will bring.
