“Very well. I will assemble the rest of the team. Once assembled we will have a week to prepare before you make your move. Until then you will stay in this apartment.” Raven replied

“Hold on, without any of my stuff?”

“We can have whatever you need from your apartment brought up here.”

“Oh cool. In that case could you bring up my axe, some clothes, and my housekeeper?”

“Axe?”

“Electric guitar. Sorry, forgot you corpos don’t exactly speak street.”

“Indeed” Raven said with the tone of someone who had been offered a moldy pizza and was politely yet firmly refusing. “And your housekeeper? I have cleaning staff here, I don’t see why she’s necessary.”

“She does more than just clean. You’ll see when she gets here.”

“Very well. Your things will be brought up. In the meantime you will be shown to your room.”

He was shown to one of many guest bedrooms. Predictably, the door was locked from the outside once he was in. Lying down on the bed, he simply waited. An hour later the door opened again and Sarah was pushed in along with the rest of his things.

“Get some rest. You will meet the other members of your team tomorrow.” The guard said, and locked the door once again.

“I don’t understand, what’s going on?” Sarah asked

“Nothing that you need be concerned about. It’s just a job and I’d prefer to have you with me while I’m here.”

“Yes sir.” She said.
