You’re so eager to try this you actually get to classroom 10 minutes earlier. Thankfully, it seems the universe is finally with you for a change and you see Ms. Owens arriving early as well.

Assuming the info on the app is true, knowing that you have a positive score with her gives you confidence. You greet her with a smile and open the door for her. She smiles and greets you back.

“You’re early today, Mr. Walker. What’s the occasion?” She asks curiously, studying you.

“Nothing. I just didn’t really have anything to do, so I came here. I really like your classes, so I figured, why not?” You say, which is not really a lie, but they’re not your true intentions.

“Saying that won’t earn you better grades, you know?” She eyes you cautiously.

Shit, are you trying too hard? Is it that obvious?

“I know, but I’m telling the truth. Just between you and me, my English teacher in High School wasn’t very good, so I’m learning more here than I ever did from him.” You smile wryly.

Her cautious expression softens and she chuckles lightly. “Well, I’m glad to hear you say that, then. Since you’re here already and you’re learning so much from me,” She jokingly mocks your flattery, but you can tell she’s in a good mood. “Do you have any questions regarding the current contents?”

“I do, actually.” You say, and begin asking her a few quick questions. She even starts going more in depth in one of them, but the bell rings and students start coming in.

“We’ll see more about that today, but if there’s something you’re not clear on even then, ask me after class, okay?” She offers and you nod, thanking her.

Before she starts you look at the Affection Multiplier App (from here on, AMA) and check on Ms. Owen’s score.
