Yes - we'll get right on it

"Of course we'll take the case Mr Green," said Val, tossing her hair back.

"Thank you very much Ms Irons," replied Mr Green, his eyes unconsciously drawn to the magnificent rack on display, "I feel better already. I have to return to work, the markets don't sleep but you should have everything you need on this disk." He paused and looked between Kay and Val. "Just so we understand each other, if they find out that I hired you they'll blame me for ruining their college experience. If that happens this cheque," he took a cheque out, "will be cancelled."

Kay took the cheque out of his hands, "Mr Green, the case is as good as solved, we'll get our best people on it right away."

As Val walked Mr Green to the lift Kay checked the amount written on the cheque. She managed to restrain herself to only a small yelp when she saw that it was three times their daily rate for what looked like a month. This sort of business would keep the business at the top of every mover and shaker in California's notice. Kay quickly loaded up the information and called the others to the reception desk.

Within ten minutes everyone was gathered and Kay and Val explained the situation to them. The team agreed that the undercover work would need to be tailored to their two subjects. Eve was the smart girl, she was taking a series of classes in computer science and physics which would require her to do some serious work the whole time she was college.

Her sister Amber was almost the polar opposite. From her hair which she dyed a platinum blonde to her clearly vivacious personality to the fact that she had signed up for a range of starter courses, mostly easy going work wise. A quick search by Kay showed Amber was already signed up to join Phi Alpha Mu, the sorority known for parties and not a lot else.

The team would need to get close to both their subjects without them getting suspicious. That meant they needed to pick the right people to go undercover on campus while the rest of the team followed up on any leads.

Quick and Johnny were already disqualified, guys would raise too many red flags so they would never get a chance to gain the sisters trust. Tasha and Nikki were the usual experts at undercover work but they wouldn't necessarily suit this assignment. And while Kay was usually the one back at base this was an opportunity for her to stretch her role. And while Val would probably fit best into the sorority world she was the least reliable person they had.
