Yes, when Jessica magically appears in front of her

Immediately after the words left her mouth, Jessica manifested right in front of her, seemingly out of thin air. Her face was slightly flushed and her breaths were heavy. Valerie stopped, mouth agape, and looked around.

"I... you... okay, what just happened?" Valerie didn't want to appear weak, but she was baffled by what she just saw.

Just as strange was how nobody else was reacting to it.

"Mistress! What are you doing here?" Jessica started angrily questioning her visitor, but after speaking her eyes went wide and she clasped her hands over her mouth.

Valerie just snorted. "What did you just call me? Is this some sort of prank?" She looked around, but there were none of the telltale signs. No one had their phone out casually pointing the camera in their direction, no huddled groups snickering at her while trying to stay hidden. The two girls stared at each other, seemingly at a loss for words. Finally, the silence was broken by an angry shout from upstairs.

"Where the hell did that magic ring go? I'll find it Jessica, and when I do you'll be all mine!" It was the voice of Kevin, that perverted creep that didn't know the meaning of personal boundaries. What could he possibly be doing here? And why was he talking about a magic ring?

Jessica opened her mouth to try and say something, but Valerie decided to take a chance. It was entirely possible that this was an elaborate prank, but even if it was, her rival had called her 'Mistress'. That meant it would need to be a lengthy and elaborate prank to end in a net benefit for Jessica, and as a result Valerie could cautiously take the bait without risk of being humiliated, "I wish that you would truthfully tell me everything about this ring in private."

A shiver ran through Jessica's body, and she moaned slightly before grabbing her rival by the wrist and pulling her into another room.

Valerie stood in silence as she listened to the bizarre tale. She heard all about the appearance of Jessica's mother, the powers of the ring, and of Kevin trying to steal them. The whole time, Jessica's face was growing pale, as if she was truly terrified at what she was telling her nemesis. When the cheerleader mentioned that granting wishes filled her with an intense sexual arousal, she cocked an eyebrow. But as weird as it sounded, it did line up with Jessica's actions. Valerie took it all in, looking for any sort of weakness. There was no way this was all real. But if it wasn't, how could she explain the earlier teleportation? And why didn't anyone else think it was strange when Jessica had called her 'Mistress'?

After the explanation was finished, Valerie took a moment to consider her options. This may have been some sort of a bet lost by Jessica, which would explain why she was humiliating herself. But there was no way she'd allow Kevin in her house, even if it was a dare of some sort. She knew that she'd heard the pervert earlier, and he wasn't the type to cooperate with a group. He probably had his own disturbing agenda for sneaking into Jessica's room.

When she was finished considering her options, Valerie knew that she had to test out the ring, on the off-chance that it was true. It had to be something clearly reality warping that could only be granted through magic. The question was, what to wish for?
