Adam froze as he heard her whispered plea. The effort it took not to drive deep into her was clearly visible on his face. Winlay would not have blamed him if he had ignored her last minute request and had thrust into her in an attempt to find release from the pressure, but he didn’t. There was no doubt in her mind that had Mika not saved her that Beldan would have had no hesitation in taking her. “I hurt you.” He rolled to her side withdrawing from her as he did.

“A little.” There was no point in denying the pain she had felt, “But it was worth it.”

“What if you become pregnant?” Winlay hadn’t even thought about that possibility and after a quick mental calculation she decided it was certainly at least possible.

“Then I’ll give birth to your handsome son, and love him for the rest of my life.” It was true. How could she not love Adam’s son.

“And what if you have a daughter, as beautiful as you?” He asked.

“I’d love her too. Can we call her Mika?” As soon as Winlay mentioned Mika Adam's mood shifted slightly, she felt a remoteness settle over his face as his thoughts went other places.

“I have to get back.” Adam sat up with a sudden jerk as he spoke. "We've been away for too long." Adam seemed uneasy as he pulled his clothing back on. “Maybe it would be better if we didn’t tell Mika about this yet.” Winlay felt a small measure of disappointment, she had wanted to share her most important moment with her best friend, but the pleasure she felt outweighed the disappointment by so much that she hardly cared.

“Then I had better wash off the evidence” She said as she pointed to the trickle of blood and semen that had dribbled down her thigh. “Give me a kiss.” And if she had any doubt about Adam’s desire for her, his kiss dismissed it immediately.
