Yes, for better or worse

After a few more moments of Silence, she sighed and nodded.

"Alright, I'll take the job."

"Thank you!" The man cried jumping to his feet. She held up a hand to stop him from getting too excited.

"I have conditions. If he gets violent, I will kill him and still expect payment. The job is simply to bring him to you, so once I get him here, he is your responsibility. If you want me to keep an eye on him longer than that, you will have to renegotiate to a higher price than what is on the bill."

The man nodded, still smiling. If he had this much hope, the least she could do was try. She got as much information out of him as she could about the forest and then spoke to some of the village hunters and guards about potential dangers. There were only small monster like goblins known in the area, that any of them know about other than Rondo the werewolf.

She checked her equipment twice to be sure everything was ready and then she set off into the forest. Night would be coming soon, but she hoped to have a better chance of finding a hunting werewolf at night. As she went deeper and deeper into the forest, she slowly began to lose track of where she was going.

It was getting darker and darker with only a few hours left of light, but the woods did a lot to block out the sun earlier than she had expected. She heard a sound behind her and turned, drawing her blade.
