Chapter 9 by omechron omechron

Does he warp her down immediately?

Yes, but change to Slade's POV

I sat on my favorite chair, my fingers steepled, with my eye closed in contemplation. This was simply too delicious. Now, just a week after my villain league’s humiliating defeat and dissolution, it seems I had turned up an unexpected dividend.

To be honest, when Robin had thrown Raven to the proverbial wolves so quickly I was taken aback. More than ever I was sure it was Robin who was truly destined to be my successor. His growing ruthlessness was even more enticing than my original desire to usurp the Bat’s magnum opus.

Now, on the other hand, it would seem that dear Robin’s magnificent treachery had backfired. Either Raven had turned on them in kind, or she had thoughtlessly acted to place herself in a position where she might be rescued. In other words, she had betrayed them, whether she knew it yet or not.

Ssakcik’s words echo in my head. Thanks to their mind alteration technology, Raven’s brain stem is now under my direct mental control. I can turn her powers on and off at will. I can cause her agony, or orgasm, or even render her **** with a mere thought. What trash. Control of her powers and the mere threat of **** was sufficient. Why buy a violin you don’t intend to play by hand? And from what little I’ve seen, Raven is a Stradivarius in all respects.

As per my instructions, Raven is delivered to me unharmed. She is naked, but they have included her costume. I’ll send the cape clasp to Robin. It may be crass to flaunt one’s purchases, but a little eccentricity can be forgiven for old times’ sake. It goes without saying that they’ll never find me until I wish it anyway.

She lays helpless before me, still ****. Finally, I take a breath and mentally release the haze that holds her ****. Her eyes flutter open and gradually she sits, and looks right at me. I smile, though she can’t see it. A long moment passes, as I search her eyes. I see no hope, no anger, no hate, nothing… as if she does not even know me. That would be disconcerting. I want her to know exactly what she was. I want her to be painfully aware of her loss at all times.

“Do you know me?” I say slowly, hiding my disappointment carefully.

“I know you… I remember everything…” She sounds almost mechanical. She’s more or less in shock. Clearly she was smart enough to realize there would be no escape. She hated the titans when she came here, for betraying her. Now she hates herself, for betraying them. Good. There’s still some hero in her to break. I can hardly contain my amusement. I still have several hours before Lex's visit. Plenty of time for a little fun.

What shall we do first?

More fun
