She leads you back into the elevator. The moment the door shuts, she begins speaking.
“Thank god you came. This hospital is crawling with them. I’m Charli with an I.”
“What happened here.”
She gives an odd giggle. “I was in the psych ward when it started. They were trying to cure the virus and it was working.”
Amanda gives you a smile.
“...But, then they brought him in. He was already changed. The cure did nothing. He broke free. There were nuns. Now he’s in charge here.”
Amanda gives her a look. “What floor were they working on a cure?”
“Six...but that’s closer to Him.”
“Where is he?” You ask.
“He’s on the tenth floor. They’re bringing infected who come to the ER to him. He’s building an army.”
Amanda gives you a look. “We need to go to six.”
Megan giggles. “Why not go to ten? I bet that would be fun.”
You give her a look and she quiets down.
Charli looks uncomfortable. “She’s infected! We need to get out of here. Leave her.”
Amanda nearly growls. “We are going to find a cure for my sister.”
