You give a polite nod, and explain your situation briefly, while Nook nods along. He speaks up as soon as you're finished "I see, I see, you're starting new.." He rubs his chin thoughtfully, looking you over a moment before continuing "Yes yes, I'm sure you'll fit right in around here!" he takes you to a desk, and gets to work with the information provided.

You admit, the process isn't at all fun.. you'd very much like to hurry through it, and, as inoffensively as possible, urge the tanuki to keep pace. Eventually, everything is sorted, and Nook takes the paperwork under his arm, coming around his desk to stand with you. He smiles proudly, more for himself and you, and brings up the more exciting part of this whole deal.

"Since we have no vacant homes, we'll be creating one for you." He leads you to the door, stepping outside and offering you to lead him "You'll be showing me precisely where you want it placed." He waves a hand dismissively as you go to question the logic behind all of this, assuring you quickly "We do things much differently around here, I'm sure you'll find." You both head down into the village proper, and you're given some options..
