“So, the Mayor,” Giles said as he sipped his tea. “That’s an interesting development. And you say he’s been in charge of the town for how long?”

“A 100 years, give or take,” Amy answered.

“And he goes out during the day,” Xander observed. “So not a vampire. Demon?”

“Unlikely,” Giles responded. “While some demons can possess a human form, this seems too subtle for one of them.”

“I’m thinking warlock,” Amy added. “That though still leaves a few possibilities on how he’s pulling it off.

“Well,” Giles mused, “given the nature of this town, I’d say a demonic pact would be the most likely source.”

“A demonic pact?” Xander said as he began to think. “So there has to be a trade that comes with that, right?”

“Yes, probably several trades in fact,” Giles said as he put his tea down. “Let me get my books.”

Amy waited until the Watcher was out of the room, “That went well. Almost normal.”

“Yeah, maybe it’s the morning, or the tea,” Xander said as he watched Giles begin to pull books out of the stacks,

“Or just luck,” Amy suggested.

“Well, whatever it is, hopefully it’s not just us.”

“Come on, all Faith, Buffy, and Willow were doing was checking out the empty Bronze,” Amy pointed out. “How much trouble can that be?”

Buffy screamed with pain as she was slammed back into the wall. “Faith, get its legs!”

“I’m trying!” Faith said with a grunt as she went low on the demon.

The two Slayers began to push the hulking creature back, “We need to get to Ethan!” Buffy shouted.

“Who?”

“The British guy, he’s a warlock,” Buffy said as the two of them heaved and threw the demon backwards.

Faith took a few deep breaths, “Where’s Willow?”

“She’s with the band, getting to safety,” Buffy answered. “Now let’s…”

The demon stood up with a roar as it stared at the two Slayers.

“I guess we need to finish this first!” Faith said as the demon charged them.

“Oh, Oz, is this the right time?” Willow moaned as he slid his fingers underneath her skirt.

“But we’re supposed to be getting to safety,” Willow said and then gasped as one of his fingers slid past her panties and into her wet pussy.

“At the police station?” Amy asked. “How much danger can they get into there?”

“Well, the Sunnydale police aren't like other police departments.”

‘This is not what I was expecting at the police precinct,’ Cordelia thought as she looked around.

“I distinctly remember there being male police officers,” Cordelia said to the woman at the desk.

“Eh, they all went away,” the woman moaned as she arched her back. Cordelia could see another officer under the desk eating her pussy. “You want a taste?”

Buffy grunted as she dodged out of the way of the demon’s fist. This is not what she had been expecting when Willow had warned that it might be a trap.

Actually, nothing was going to plan. The Bronze was supposed to be empty, but Oz and Devon were still there cleaning up (Buffy got the impression it was a late night and not an early morning). When she had spotted Ethan Rayne snooping around things had begun to make a lot more sense. What she hadn’t expected was him to have such a powerful guard with him.

She rolled over a table as she kicked the demon back and then slid under the pool table. The demon roared as it lost sight of her.

Faith slid over next to her, “Any plans?”

“Demons usually have something they are weak against,” Buffy said as she quickly scanned it over.

“Well it ain’t wood,” Faith said as she held up her stake. “I’ve already stabbed him like a dozen times.”

Buffy took a few deep breaths. It was a goat legged demon, massive red toso, and two horns.

“Nothing is going to come to mind,” Buffy murmured, “But I have an idea we can improvise.”

Cordelia slowly moved down the hall as the various officers, suspects, and others in the precinct eyed her like a sexy piece of meat. Cordelia got to the end of the hallway and saw a name on the door ‘Kate Lockley*’. This must be the visiting officer that she had been told about. As she opened the door she hoped that she would get someone to talk to.

She wasn’t surprised by what she got however. Dawn was sitting on the desk, while a blond police officer, who Cordelia presumed to be Kate Lockley, went down on her.

*I spoiled the surprise of Kate by putting her name in the last part. I was supposed to change Kate to police before posting, but forgot.

Elisabeth Rohm went from this role to Law and Order. While the reveal took a while, she was playing a lesbian. In my head I always associated the two roles and thus thought of the Kate character as a lesbian.
