Wrap-Up for Operation Full House

MISSION COMPLETE

Objective Status: The team of Ciao, Au Revoir, and Vaarvel infiltrated the casino cruise liner, Palm of Royalty, killing several armed hostiles on their way to the rendezvous with Nora Goldstein to retrieve the Bound Blood 1000 antidote for Ciao and extract the scientist from enemy territory. They found her being held hostage by Adder Adjutant and other top Adjutant officials. Some quick thinking allowed the Goodbye Girls to evade the Adjutant and exit the hostage situation with Nora in tow, but without the antidote. Many more Adder agents were killed in pursuit of Adder Adjutant, who still had the Bound Blood 1000 antidote on her person.{if Au Revoir Shot = 1} Au Revoir was injured by gunfire while engaging enemy combatants, though the wound did not hamper her and she is now recovering.{endif}

The group cornered Adder Adjutant, only for the terrorist to try to escape by an Adder Sidewinder attack helicopter. {if Helicopter Destroyed = 1}Ciao destroyed the helicopter with an adhesive explosive, allowing Au Revoir to apprehend the Adjutant.{endif}{if Adder Adjutant Tricked = 1}Ciao and Vaarvel worked together to capture the Adjutant, utilizing a psychological trick.{endif}{if Adder Adjutant Grabbed = 1}Ciao retrieved Adder Adjutant by hanging onto the terrorist, causing them to plummet back to the ship, where, fortunately, they were caught by Au Revoir.{endif} In the end, Adder Adjutant was transferred by Gambit back to Washington, Nora rejoined the science team, and the Palm of Royalty sank. It is assumed that most terrorists on board perished, although we must account for the possibility that some were rescued.

While in custody of CEDIT Washington, Adder Adjutant was interrogated by agent Ciao. {if CEDIT Agents Killed Adder Adjutant = 1}Regrettably, the Adjutant attacked agent Vaarvel as soon as she entered to join the interrogation, before useful information could be extracted. The Adjutant was then killed by armed agents, who are now the subjects of disciplinary action.{endif}{if Au Revoir Killed Adder Adjutant = 1}Regrettably, after revealing that a substance called "Bound Blood 10" existed in the bloodstream of agent Au Revoir, the Adjutant instructed Au Revoir to kill her. Au Revoir was unable to resist carrying out the command. Little useful information was extracted before this point.{endif}{if Adder Adjutant in CEDIT Custody = 1}Ciao discovered through interrogation that the woman, Huizhong Shi, is really only a figurehead in the organization. CEDIT will be stepping up security to make sure that she remains safely secured for further interrogation.{endif}

Ciao's Confidential Report to Goodbye: This mission was too easy. It's hard not to believe that someone's still orchestrating events as they relate to our interactions with Adder. Even cured of Bound Blood 1000, I can't help but feel they've got a leg up on me. It feels odd to say that when we captured their leader and killed a large number of their operatives in the boat attack, but I feel it's true.

{if CEDIT Agents Killed Adder Adjutant = 1}I hate that it came at the cost of Adder Adjutant's death, but confidentially, I did obtain some useful information on Vaarvel. Her name is Vanessa Pillay. Oddly, this name does not correspond with the South African scientist we'd been investigating the disappearance of. It sounded oddly as though the two of them may have had history predating even her time as Adder Adjutant, to back when she was an agent named "Snakeskin." If only I'd had more time to interrogate the Adjutant before those trigger-happy agents killed her.{endif}{if Au Revoir Killed Adder Adjutant = 1}I hate that it came at the cost of Adder Adjutant's death, but confidentially, I did obtain some useful information on Au Revoir. Her name is Brielle Sergeant. Under Adder, she was named Python and supposedly carried out a horrific number of terrorist incidents, many of which she likely doesn't remember, due to the brainwashing of a prototype genetic modification drug called Bound Blood 10. Au Revoir seems unaware of the full effects of this drug... learning about it left her shaken. I worry about her mental stability going forward, though Vaarvel ensures me she can control it.{endif}{if Adder Adjutant in CEDIT Custody = 1}I wish the news coming out of my interrogation had been better; I feel let down to learn that this Adder Adjutant CEDIT had been pursuing all these years was just a figure-head. Investigations into the name Huizhong Shi and code-name "Snakeskin" both go dead fast; the former has no history and the latter is insignificant in the scheme of overall Adder activity. I'm not certain we can trust the info, but Huizhong suggested to me that she was planted at the Palm of Royalty to lure CEDIT into a false sense of security. If so, did the plan fail, now that we know she was only a figure-head? I'll keep looking into it...{endif}
