World Processor (In Progress)

*I have no idea who first wrote the idea of World Processor, but it's been around a long time (just like Master PC) and is certainly not my original idea, though I am using it a little differently.

"Will, I can't believe you are doing homework over the summer," Xander said as he entered her house.

"It's what I have to do for my courses," she called from the kitchen. "I'll feel a lot better if you look over the project I made."

Xander sighed as he headed for her room. He'd just tell her it looked great. Which was almost certainly true, not like he could help her with it. At least it usually helped with her nerves.

Her computer was already on, but was not something he had any idea on how to use, "How do I get to the project?"

"Just load up the word processor. It should be the first thing that pops up."

Xander sat down and looked at the screen. Her email was up and there was a subject line: World Processor. Figuring he found the right thing he clicked on it.

"Hey, WillsinCali, I found this weird program on the net. I can't figure out what do with it, but you're always great with these sorts of things."

Xander didn't know the the person who sent the email, but it looked like an online acquaintance. There was a file labeled World Processor and he clicked on it.

Buffy - Priority: Main Character

Event: Welcome to the Hellmouth

1. Buffy is spotted by Xander after he crashes his skateboard. She doesn’t see him. Xander falls in love with Buffy.
2. After a collision in the hallway, Buffy’s stuff is knocked out of her hands. Xander goes to help, but embarrasses himself by saying, ‘Can I have you?’ Buffy likes Xander as friend
3. Buffy meets up with Cordelia and the two get along. Buffy passes her popular girl test.
4. Buffy finds Willow and asks for help with homework. They are later joined by Xander and Buffy jokes the stake he found was for self-defense. The trio become friends.
5. A student is found dead, drained of his blood. Buffy confronts Giles, her Watcher, about vampires and that she is retired. Xander overhears the conversation and doesn’t believe it.
6. Buffy tries to plan an outfit for her first trip to the Bronze while talking with her Mom. She worries that her choices either make her look too boring or slutty. Joyce wants to better connect with her daughter, but struggles.
7. On her way to the Bronze, Buffy catches a mysterious man following her. After their confrontation he gives her a cross. This is a critical item to Buffy.
8. Buffy and Willow meetup at the Bronze. Willow confesses her love for Xander. Mental Change: Buffy doesn’t want to get between Willow and Xander. Buffy encourages Willow to be more outgoing. Willow listens and will pretty much always take Buffy’s advice.
9. While talking with Giles, Buffy spots Willow being led away by a vampire. She pursues, but runs into Cordelia in an embarrassing fashion and her social reputation is destroyed..
10. Buffy runs into Xander and enlists his help in finding Willow, even if he doesn’t believe vampires exist.
11. Buffy and Xander save Willow. Xander leads Willow away, while Buffy fights the vampires. While she starts off winning, she is ambushed by a much more powerful vampire.

"Is Willow back into writing fanfiction again?" Xander said as he looked everything over. Was she just using names of people she knew? Well, except for whoever the main character Buffy was.

If this wasn't Willow he'd presume this was all some type of prank. However, Willow wouldn't do that.

Of course, he wasn't Willow. He was definitely up for a prank. She wanted him to change or add 15 words? He was more than happy to do that.

Normally I would put up a rules thread, but the plot actually covers it. So just a couple notes.

I wasn't planning on the episode description being nearly as long as it got. I'll try to cut it down quite a bit for future episodes.

You may delete, alter, or add 15 words to anything that isn't underlined. That is 15 words total to split between character and plot changes. Deleting a word and replacing it with a word counts as one word used. Deleting a word and replacing it with nothing also counts as one word. Altering a word counts as one word. Punctuation doesn't count as anything. The changes made must make grammatical sense. You may add an entire new sentence if you wish.

If you want to play this like you are Xander, go ahead. If you want to play it like you would with your knowledge of the show, you can also do that.

Being this is a new idea, I'm just guessing that 15 words is good enough. Enough to make changes, but limited enough that you have to make choices. If it isn't the right amount, I'm open to changing it. If you don't use all the words they roll over to the next turn, but try to use at least 10.

There are a number of ways people could get really crazy with their suggestions. I'll try to incorporate them as best I can. I'm not sure the story can stable for the entire first season, but I'll definitely try.
