Mark pauses for a moment as he considers what to say, or if he should let her come up with an idea herself. One question that could be answered quickly would be if the gun affects the world outside the target of the gun would be to let Jackie go home and see if her family panics, but that would reveal the fact to her that he'd changed her. The two female neighbors on the other side were perhaps a target. The gun also changed his boxes when it hit the delivery guy, so maybe just firing it at a car or a house would have an effect? There were a lot of questions that needed answers.

Many questions that could be answered later, maybe. For now it made more sense to keep focus on Jackie and cover his tracks. "Maybe we could use it on you, to see if you remember being changed? Then we could go over to your house and see if your sisters notice anything different? Ever wished to be something different?"
