Work and Prep

Work for Amy is a bit much during the week. Dealing with the 'little things' as Jasmine said in her email meant, daily meetings, scheduling maintenance, and sorting time off on top of her normal work. Brendan helped as much as he could but could only do so much. During lunch on Friday, Allison texts them both.

Allison-[Hey, I got the weekend off. I know its cramped but mind spending the weekend at my place? I got places to sleep.]

Amy and Brendan look at each other, shrug and Amy responds.

Amy-[Yeah sounds good. We will pack and be over. 2 nihgts?]

Allison -[Prep for that. Might need one. ill send a list]

Brendan and Amy especially finish work with a bit of pep thinking of some of the fun to be had. They each rush home to pack. Brendan grabbed normal clothes at his place then headed to Amy to help get some of the big stuff in the car.

As they get to the apartment building, they are greeted by Allison and the landlady. "Oh. You weren't kidding about this being a big project. Oh you are so cute when you get working." "Oh stop Mabel. You don't need to help." Allison says hefting up some of the bags. "Oh don't worry. My family got me this handcart for just such events." the landlady says pulling a motorized cart from around the corner. With Mabel's help everything gets into Allison's apartment in one trip. As they shut the door they all hear Mabel say "Oh dear. Put that here. Your vacation is deserved, start early." to one of the neighbors. Allison turns and locks the door. "Great. Everyone around me is out of town. Nobody to report weird stuff." Brendan relaxes a bit. "I was nervous. The hooves you requested are loud." They unload the outfits into Allison's bedroom. "I have pizza on the way, and we just need to finish setting up the living room." Allison said with a massive smile on her face. "Oh I can't wait." Brendan shifts into Allison while Allison and Amy black out the living room. Allison's normal cluttered project ridden living room is fairly clean with the center of the room clear. Amy and Allison put up hooks for thick blankets to block windows. The TV stand and couches are already on the opposite wall with the coffee table on one of the couches. Brendan walks out to some lights being set up as the doorbell rings. In some of Allison's shorts and tank top, answers the door and takes the pizza from the delivery girl. "Paid online, all set. Have a nice night." was all that was said as she half throws the pizza at Brendan and heads out. The three eat and Allison asks "You ready?"
