You shrug your shoulders with feigned apology "I'm so sorry, I appear to have lost them! One moment they were in my sight and the next.."

Evellyn unexpectedly steps out from behind the boxes and angrily punches you in the shoulder. That was really hard, you're gonna feel that bruise.

"ouch", you rub your shoulder.
