Wonder Woman

Sneaking out the door and heading for her car Joyce couldn't help but flinch when she heard a voice behind her.

"Missus Summers?"

Turning fast Joyce's coat flapped open and revealed the outfit she was wearing. A slightly more adult version of the Wonder Woman costume, showing a lot more leg, butt and chest then she normally would.

Standing at the bottom of the driveway Xander Harris stared in wonderment. "Whoa."

Shutting her coat and flushing Joyce huffed, "Xander. Keep your voice down. I'm trying to get out of here without Buffy causing a scene about my costume."

"Hachi Machi." Xander gulped, "I can see why." He walked over and leaned in, "Where's the wig? Unless your not going as Diana. Hippolyta? Artemis?"

Joyce just stared at him blankly.

"Nevermind. Comic book nerdery." xander waved it off.

"I'm going to put the wig on in the car before i get to my party."

"I thought you were going out of town to look a- ah." xander snapped his fingers, "Right. Not telling Buffy your going to a party in a sexy Wonder Woman suit."

"And I'd like to keep it secret, if you don't mind. I don't need the histrionics."

Xander held up his hands, "Say no more. Call me Steve Trevor here to do your bidding."

"Thank you," Joyce nodded her head. "Now, if you don't mind. I'll be going."

Xander raised his rifle in mock salute, "just remember to be safe and don't let yourself get bound in your lasso."

Joyce raised an eyebrow, "What?"

"More comic book nerdery. Originally Wonder Woman was **** to bondage. She'd lose her powers if she ever got tied up. Wonder Woman's creator, his wife and their girlfriend were, uh, kinda kinky. These days it's just if she's bound up with her magical lasso." xander shrugged his shoulders.

"Their girlfriend?" Joyce asked.

Xander nodded.

Joyce snorted, "Why am I not surprised." Opening her car door she gave Xander a nod. "Goodnight xander, keep an eye out for Buffy, please."

Xander saluted, "As my lady commands."
